HFT Series

Hft-520 is a high performance, high power, high directivity, light weight, multi-purpose and very compact box design. Provide double 10 inch (63 core long stroke voice coil) high-quality Nd-Fe-B bass, four 4-inch (35mm voice coil) loaded phase plug driver midrange and 3-inch (75mm voice coil) compressed driver treble. Compact box design, perfect multi-function hanging system, simple installation and more convenient flow.

The special horn of hft-520 has exceptionally smooth and highly reliable performance. The horn design shows constant directivity based on the careful research results of realsound anechoic room. The patented design provides four horizontal coverage angles, two horizontal symmetrical angles of 70 degrees and 110 degrees, and two asymmetrical angles of 90 degrees. The angle can be selected according to the actual sound reinforcement requirements on site, and the high pitch horizontal direction can be strictly controlled. Compared with the 110 degree setting, the 70 degree setting increases by 2dB. Within the operating frequency range, the optional beam width is consistent in the strict frequency range in both horizontal and vertical planes, and the coverage can be a geometry completely suitable for any audience group. Therefore, all frequencies outside the specified beam are uniformly attenuated to minimize the sidelobe effect. The uniform predictable polarity performance reduces the offset interference of the array in the system design.

The program prefabricated by the manufacturer is adopted, the built-in DSP realizes the phase and frequency response through the electronic frequency divider correction filter, and the driver protection setting is provided. The phase correction processing ensures the flat acoustic amplitude and phase response, so as to produce outstanding impulse response and accurate sound image.

All low-frequency parts of hft-520 adopt high-efficiency Nd-Fe-B drive units, adopt the best tuned arc horn ventilation design, and adopt advanced design to eliminate standing wave and unwanted resonance internally, while minimizing weight and maintaining maximum rigidity. The air return port is professionally optimized without grid barrier, which can greatly reduce the sound resistance and compression abnormal sound of the air return port. The result is impressive low-frequency expansion and output capability, reducing the need for a separate woofer compared to other systems of this size.

The hft-520's many innovative technologies almost eliminate the fragmentation distortion in the audible range, so as to achieve a very smooth extended response without the harsh feeling associated with traditional equipment. The high frequency vertical mode has been mathematically optimized to meet the ideal behavior requirements in the array.

Like all realsound boxes, hft-520 box is made of Baltic birch multi-layer plywood, and the appearance is finished with solid black two-component polymer spraying to withstand the most severe conditions. The speaker steel mesh is made of high-grade 14 gauge perforated steel and IP55 with high water resistance.
